IGNOU 2024 January Session Application Form Last Date has been Extended till 31st March 2024 for Various Courses. IGNOU 2024 is also known as the Indira Gandhi National Open University will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). The exam is held for candidates willing to get admission in various UG and PG programmes. It is a university level entrance exam held every year in two sessions i.e., January and July.

IGNOU 2024 Application Process:

Below we have provided the Application Procedure for IGNOU 2024:

• The IGNOU application form 2024 will be released through online mode.
• Application form for B.Ed. course has been released from 21st November 2022.
• IGNOU application form for UG/ PG courses will release from first week of May to fourth week of July 2024.
• Fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, email id, etc.
• Candidates need to upload scanned documents such as photograph, signature, copy of age proof, category certificate, etc.
• There will be no need to send hardcopy of the filled application form to the authorities.
• Download the form and take the copy of the application form for further usage.

Steps to Apply for IGNOU 2024 Application Form/How to fill form?

Below we have provided the details regarding how to fill the IGNOU Application form 2024:

• Go through the official website of IGNOU 2024 or go for the “Direct Link” provided above in this article.
• Now click on “Online Registration -IGNOU Admission 2024” and then click on “Fresh Candidates (Click here) to create Log In”.
• Fill required details like Email Id, Phone Number, Name, Date of Birth and select the program candidates apply for and submit them.
• Now login with Email Id and Date of Birth and a new page of IGNOU Application Form will open.
• After login, fill the IGNOU Application form with required details and click on “save” button.
• IGNOU 2024 Application Form will contains information like Name, Fathers Name, Address, Academic details, examination Centre, Contact Information etc..
• Now upload photograph and signature in IGNOU application Form.
• Photograph should be passport size photograph with plane background and should be within size and format provided in the information brochure.
• Signature should be candidate running hand signature and should be scanned within size and format provided in the information brochure.
• Now go for the payment Mode and then fill the required details accordingly.
• Once payment has been successfully paid take the copy of filled Application From and Fee receipt as proof for further usage.
• Applicants don’t need to send hardcopy of Application Form to the authority.

IGNOU 2024 Application Form Fee:

IGNOU 2024 Application fee can be submitted through online mode only.
Candidates can pay through Credit Card /Debit Card (except Master/Visa Card) / Net Banking/UPI payment gateways for transaction of application form fee.
The Application fee will be non-refundable at any circumstances.

Important Instructions for IGNOU Application Form Correction?

• IGNOU form correction will be a one-time activity. After that, modification in any details will not be allowed under any circumstances.
• Correction will be allowed only for those candidates who completed the form filling process earlier and paid the fees.

• Changes will be displayed on the Confirmation Page after final application form submission.

IGNOU 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

B.Ed. course:

• Qualification: Candidate who have completed their Bachelor degree/ Master degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce/ Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science & Mathematics.
• Marks Criteria: One should obtain 50% marks in Bachelor degree/ Master degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce. 55% marks in Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science & Mathematics.
• Candidates who are – trained in service teachers in elementary education & candidates having complete NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face to face mode

MBA Program:

• Qualification: The candidate must be graduated from recognized university/ institute.
• Marks: In qualifying exam candidate must obtain at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).
• Selection: The candidates will be selected based on the entrance test performance.
