The admission in the MBBS and BDS course will be based on the national level entrance exam, i.e., NEET. No state level entrance exam will be organized in the state for admission into medical & dental programmes.

Chennai MBBS/BDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants should belong to the Indian national.
• NRI, OCI, PIO or Foreign national candidates will also be eligible to apply.
• The lower age limit to apply is 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.
• The upper age limit is 25 years and 5 years of age relaxation for reserve categories.
• Applying candidate should pass the 12th or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• The qualifying examination should pass with minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserve category candidates) in PCB and English subjects.
• Appearing candidates is also eligible to apply.
