Step 3: Fill the Registration Form details with Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Selecting Password, Interest Area. Then click on “Submit Request.”
Step 4: A profile will be created, and the applicants will receive a Membership Number.
Step 5: In the following step, the applicants would be asked to log in and fill in the Application Form with Personal, Academic, Communication details.
Step 6: Pay the application fees online through(Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking) and take a printout of the confirmation page.
How to fill AMIE 2023 Offline Application Form?
Step 1: Applicants can get the AMIE 2023 Application Form from the respective centers or download them from the website (Link Provided Above in the Article).
Step 2: Fill in all the required details in the Application Form.
Step 3: The application fee must be paid by Demand Draft. The DD must be drawn in favor of “The Institution of Engineers (India)” payable at Kolkata.
Step 4: Then Candidates must need to Write their ST/T number at the back of DD. The DD must be sent along with the Application Form to the following address:

AMIE 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
All the candidates must ensure the fulfilment of eligibility criteria prescribed by IEI. Check the AMIE 2023 Eligibility Criteria below for all sections.
Section A (Non-diploma): The applicants must have Technician Membership of IEI. To be eligible for Technician membership, the aplicants must be of 17 years old minimum age limit. Also, the applicants are required to have passed class 12th or an equivalent examination with 45% aggregate marks in Science subjects as well as 45% aggregate marks in all the subjects.
Section A (Diploma): Senior Technician Members of IEI are eligible to apply for this section. To be eligible for Sr. Technician Membership of IEI, the applicants should be 18 years or older and should have passed diploma examination in Engineering/Technology or equivalent.
Section B: The applicants belonging to any of the following 2 categories are eligible to appear for Section B of AMIE Exam.
- Technician Members / Senior Technician Members of IEI who completed Section A or got exempted from Section A.
- Corporate Members of IEI
